Cloudshape Awarded GSA IT Schedule 70 Contract

gsa_schedule_starmark January 26, 2016 – Cloudshape, the leader in secure, on-premises Desktop as a Service solutions, today announced it has been awarded an Information Technology Schedule 70 contract by the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA). The GSA establishes long-term, government-wide contracts with commercial vendors to streamline and standardize the process of procuring products and services for the entire Federal government.

Cloudshape’s secure on-premises Desktop as a Service platform delivers virtual Windows desktops and applications to any user, anywhere, on any device, for a low monthly fee. The HSPD-12-ready, on-premises solution is able to adhere to all government agency security requirements, regulations, and compliance guidelines, including over 50 FISMA (NIST 80-53) security controls that map to the Cloudshape DaaS infrastructure. This is done without affecting network performance or the user experience because the solution is built with a proprietary memory-based architecture optimized for VDI.  Agencies can expect a secure, high-performing solution that also incurs cost savings when compared to maintaining physical PCs and laptops.

“Being named to the Schedule 70 contract allows government agencies easy access to our innovative DaaS solution, helping to transform the way the government works and ultimately providing better services to its constituents,” said Brad Osborne, Co-Founder and CEO of Cloudshape.
